Jokiniemi Afternoon Club
The afternoon club is designed for 1st and 2nd-grade students and operates every school day from Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The program follows school holidays and regulations. The afternoon club has a strong focus on sports and physical activity.
In the afternoon program, children engage in physical activities and play under the supervision of responsible adults. The group operates both indoors and outdoors daily, offering a varied and engaging program throughout the year. Tikkurilan Palloseura works closely with parents, school staff, and the City of Vantaa. The club ensures that children have a safe, familiar, and enjoyable after-school experience, where every child is treated as an individual and given equal attention. Staff members actively intervene in bullying, conflicts, and other issues immediately, creating a positive and welcoming environment.
In addition to guided group activities, children have the opportunity to focus on their own interests, relax, or rest. The program includes weekly themes to bring variety to daily routines. A key goal is to support children’s participation and encourage diverse hobbies. The club offers small group activities tailored to different interests and skill levels, encouraging learning, creativity, and exploration. Children can enjoy a variety of activities, including football, basketball, floorball, gymnastics, dance, obstacle courses, and outdoor games.
At Tikkurilan Palloseura’s afternoon club, children can enjoy sports, outdoor play, excursions, snacks, social interaction with trusted adults, and homework support. They also have the freedom to draw, express their creativity through art and music, and explore their curiosity. The aim is to foster an environment where every child feels safe to be themselves, respects others, and confidently expresses their opinions. We create a supportive, encouraging, and joyful atmosphere for all participants.
Fees
- 100€/month per child (until 4:00 PM)
- 130€/month per child (until 5:00 PM)
A fee reduction may be available through the City of Vantaa.
