FINANCIAL SUPPORT APPLICATIONS
On this page, you’ll find information about the financial support options offered by Tikkurilan Palloseura and other organisations to help cover hobby-related expenses. Support is always granted to an individual player, not an entire family, so each child or youth must apply separately. You may apply for support from several organisations at the same time, as they do not exclude one another.
If your family’s financial situation makes it difficult to cover hobby costs, we encourage you to apply for support as early as possible.
TIKKURILAN PALLOSEURA SUPPORT FUND
The purpose of the club’s Support Fund is to assist players from low-income families in starting or continuing their football hobby and participation in competitions. The aim is to ensure that players can begin or continue football even if their family is struggling with the costs. Support can be applied for throughout the year, and each application is reviewed individually.
The player, the player’s parent, or a team official (for example, team manager or head coach) may apply for support. Priority is given to first-time applicants.
Low-Income Support for Season 2025
Any child or young person under 18 who participates in Tikkurilan Palloseura ry activities may apply for financial support. The club grants support to children and youth from low-income families to help cover season fees, team monthly fees, and playing equipment. We kindly request a short description of the player from the coach or team manager to include with the application. The purpose of the Support Fund is to reduce inequality among children and youth within TiPS activities due to financial circumstances. Support amounts vary between 200–300 euros per season per player.
The application must include:
• The player’s name, age, and guardian’s contact details
• The team in which the player participates
• The player’s activity history at Tikkurilan Palloseura ry
• A free-form explanation of the need for financial support
In your free-form justification, we encourage you to also describe:
• The player’s attitude and lifestyle
• Training activity and behaviour
• Information on the hobby’s seasonal costs and the amount of support requested / description of how the support would be used
The TiPS board decides on the approval of the support, the amount granted, and the timing of the decision. The club reserves the right to change its support policies.
Please also note that if a player is granted support, they must commit to playing the entire 2025–2026 season (1.11.2025–31.10.2026) with Tikkurilan Palloseura ry.

SOS-Lapsikylä – “Unelmista totta” Hobby Support
Through this support, SOS-Lapsikylä helps children and youth in difficult circumstances find a meaningful hobby. Tikkurilan Palloseura is proud to help make these hobby dreams come true. Together, we support families so that no child needs to give up their hobby.
SOS-Lapsikylä offers support for families in challenging life situations to help cover children’s hobby expenses. The support is directed especially to children and young people (ages 7–17) who could not start or continue a hobby otherwise. The support reduces inequality and prevents exclusion among children and youth from the most vulnerable families.
Support can be granted for fees related to supervised and regular hobbies. Priority is given to applications submitted via school social workers or family social workers, but support may also be granted based on applications submitted independently by families.
